We are excited to announce the creation of the Tulalip Tribes Native American Scholarship Program at Pushing Boundaries!

This exciting new opportunity provides five (5) $1000 scholarships for Washington state

Native Americans navigating paralysis and /or other neurological movement disorders.

Teri says: “We are incredibly excited and honored by Tulalip Tribes’ generosity, and hope to use this scholarship program as a model with other community partners, to further expand access to Exercise Therapy.”

Seattle DOT Launches New 'Ride Now!' Program


The Seattle Department of Transportation is launching a new pilot program called Ride Now, to provide free and discounted rides to transit stations and other nearby destinations that can be difficult to reach by transit only – specifically for older adults (65+), people navigating disabilities, and their respective caregivers.

This voucher-based test program runs through June 1st. Click HERE to learn about eligibility and to sign up!

 

Redmond Mayor's State of the City Address: Your Voice is Wanted!

Teri and Michael were excited to attend Redmond Mayor Angela Birney's 'State of the City' address earlier this month. One of the main topics was the 'Parks, Arts, Recreation, Culture and Conservation (PARCC) Plan'.
