June Newsletter!

NEW Episode of Talking Spokes!

Join Client Sebastian Broussard as he interviews our very own Shelby! They discuss why exercise-based therapy is beneficial and how it compares to the more traditional occupational and physical therapy.

Washington Parks Accessibility Guide

With summer fully upon us, and the veil of COVID-19 slowly lifting, we are ALL looking to get out and enjoy the sun!

Washington State Parks has a site that outlines accessibility throughout the parks system. You can search for specific ADA features, and use the interactive map to assess and guide your summertime fun!

PUSHING Forward

Although (fingers crossed!) we hope to host an in-person gathering in the fall, it just seems like a celebration is needed NOW!

Please join us virtually on July 29th as we celebrate and reflect on the year (well...really 16 months, but who's counting?) we've all just had. We share some client triumphs, some COVID challenges, have some fun cool 'door' prizes, and maybe raise a little money.

We'll also (finally!) be presenting the first annual Allan Northrup Award, recognizing an individual or organization for their contributions in supporting Pushing Boundaries’ mission and culture. We're excited to announce that our inaugural recipient is Mercer Island resident Lisa Kittilsby.

Registration opens Friday, June 25th. We'll send a direct link then, but you can also find the registration link on our website after that date.

And in the meantime, A huge THANK YOU to our sponsors- some of whom intended to sponsor a 2020 event!
